Editor agreement

1. What we do for you

We match you with brands that want to hire an editor. We send you offers for paid test work (the editor battle) and, if a brand picks you, a long-term placement. Joining and being placed is free for you. We never take a share of what a brand pays you.

2. You are a freelancer

You work as an independent freelancer, not as our employee or the brand's employee. You are responsible for your own taxes, social security and business registration. You are free to work for other clients, within section 8.

3. Your profile

Brands see your first name, initial, city, portfolio, intro video and intro answers when you accept an offer. Your email, phone and full name are shared with a brand only once it hires you. Your profile and intro must be true and your own work.

4. Offers and the battle

• You can accept or decline every offer. Once you accept, you deliver the test ads in the agreed quality by the deadline (normally within one week).
• You use only material you are allowed to use: the brand's material, licensed music and stock, and AI tools within their terms.
• Messages with the brand go through the portal until the hire.
• If you do not deliver without a good reason, we may pause your profile for new offers.

5. If a brand does not pick you

• If a brand does not pick you, you get an offer to edit for Aditor.ai right away, and €80 after 90 days on standby, if you stayed available for that brand during this time.

6. Rights in your test ads

With delivery, you grant the brand all rights to use the test ads for its advertising, worldwide, in all media and without time limit, also if the brand does not hire you. Where the law allows, you waive being named. You may show the ads in your own portfolio only with the brand's permission. We may show your work to the brand and inside the portal.

7. When a brand hires you

• You agree your scope and rate with the brand and invoice the brand directly.
• Per placement Aditor pays you a bonus of €250 on day 30 and €250 on day 90, as long as you are still placed and sent every check-in.
• If you end a placement, you give the brand and us 30 days' notice. If a placement ends before day 90 without this notice, bonuses you received for it are paid back.

8. No going around Aditor

For 24 months after a brand first saw your profile through Aditor, you work for that brand only through an Aditor placement, also if the brand did not pick you in the battle. You do not ask brands to hire you outside Aditor.

For each breach you pay a contractual penalty of €5,000. Our right to claim further damage stays unaffected; the penalty counts toward it.

9. Confidentiality

You keep everything you learn about brands, their products, ads, numbers and plans confidential, also after this agreement ends.

10. Certificate

Your Aditor certificate shows that you passed our training, exam and interview. We may withdraw it if you seriously breach this agreement.

11. Term

This agreement runs until one side ends it with 30 days' notice by email. Sections 6, 8 and 9 continue after the end. Running placements end as agreed with the brand.

13. Final provisions

Governed by the laws of Estonia. Changes need written form (email is enough). If a clause is invalid, the rest stays valid.
